Social Dreaming.

Gordon Lawrence's social dreaming, informed by the Tavistock Institute's revolutionary research, offers a one-of-a-kind group experience that encourages collaborative dream exploration. Social dreaming allows individuals to share their dreams in a systematic manner, focussing on associations, symbols, patterns, and collective meanings.

Participants in a Social Dreaming Matrix (SDM) connect to participate in a collaborative process, either in an SDM setting or digitally, through online meetings. After a brief introduction, the session moves into a matrix format where dreams are shared without individual interpretation. Rather, participants explore emerging topics collectively by offering associations and comments. This is followed by a discussion of the insights and patterns revealed by the matrix, which fosters a better understanding of both personal and collective experiences.

This method unlocks the power of the unconscious, fostering a space where varied perspectives can collide to spark new ideas. The collective insights of social dreaming are offering participants new perspectives and can aid with the development of leadership, group dynamics, and nonverbal communication skills thanks to the concepts and languages supplied by Carl Gustav Jung's psychoanalytical principles.

Come along on this enlightening voyage into the unconscious, where the creativity of dreams acts as a catalyst for deep understanding and personal development. Examine the ways that social dreaming can improve group dynamics, advance your leadership, and open your eyes to new perspectives.

Social Dreaming experiences offered by Inari.

At Inari, we offer three distinct Social Dreaming Matrix (SDM) experiences tailored to different needs.

The Standard SDM (Online), lasting approximately 2 hours, begins with a 5-minute introduction, followed by a 55-minute matrix session where participants share and react to dreams without interpretation. After a 10-minute break, there is a 45-minute discussion on the emerging themes, concluding with a 5-minute wrap-up. This session is ideal for those looking to explore dream content and collective insights.

The Extended SDM (Online) extends to about 3 hours and includes an initial session similar to the Standard SDM, with pre-matrix preparation, the matrix session, a break, and discussion. Following this, participants receive a report on the themes and narratives that emerged, which is discussed in a second session about two weeks later. This extended format, costing EUR 60 per participant, allows for deeper analysis and reflection on the collected data, with sessions recorded to enhance understanding.

The Weekend SDM (On-site in Sweden) is a 2-day immersive experience designed for in-depth exploration. Starting with a morning lesson on the history and methodology of SDM, the first day includes an afternoon Standard SDM session and group work on the emerging themes. The second day features another Standard SDM session, with the weekend concluding with final reflection and meditation. Priced at EUR 1.000 plus travel, hotel, and food costs, this weekend retreat offers a thorough engagement with SDM and opportunities for profound personal and collective insights.
