Meet Ben: Your Jungian Coach, Social Dreaming Facilitator, and Systems Psychodynamics Specialist
I am Ben, an Executive Coach, Social Dreaming Facilitator, and Multi-Party Simulation Specialist, with a dual heritage rooted in Sweden and Germany. Fluent in Swedish, German, and English, I bring a wealth of international experience, having worked extensively in both governmental and semi-governmental organisations, including the Swedish Police and the German Public Broadcaster. My career has taken me to foreign correspondent bureaus in Stockholm and Tokyo, where I oversaw complex operations, and I’ve successfully led multicultural teams across South Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, Scandinavia, and the Baltic states. With a background that bridges both public service and media, I have gained deep insight into the intricacies of authority and governance within diverse organisational contexts.

Social Dreaming: Unveiling the Unconscious for Deep Transformation My journey into Social Dreaming began during my studies at INSEAD, where I became captivated by the potential of dreams to unlock hidden psychological insights. For my master’s thesis, I explored how Social Dreaming could be utilised to enhance multicultural communication and foster team cohesion by allowing individuals to connect intuitively through the collective interpretation of dream imagery. This process offers a powerful window into the unconscious, revealing underlying motivations and fostering deeper understanding within diverse groups. As a facilitator, I lead participants on an explorative journey through their dreams, not as isolated experiences, but as part of a larger, interconnected network enriched by the associations of others. This collective approach enhances self-awareness, encourages creative problem-solving, and strengthens team dynamics, particularly in cross-cultural or interdisciplinary settings. By tapping into the unconscious, Social Dreaming offers a pathway to both personal and organisational transformation. |
Multi-Party Simulation: Immersive Learning for Leadership and Team Dynamics In addition to my work in coaching and Social Dreaming, I facilitate Multi-Party Simulations, an experiential learning method designed to mirror the complexities of real-world organisational challenges. In these dynamic and highly interactive sessions, participants are assigned roles that represent various stakeholders—such as corporate executives, government officials, or community leaders—each with distinct objectives, resources, and limitations. Over several days, participants navigate through a series of evolving scenarios, making decisions, negotiating outcomes, and managing conflicts in real time. As the facilitator, I guide participants through this immersive experience, ensuring that the learning objectives are met and that a psychologically safe environment is maintained throughout. The simulation is meticulously crafted to respond to participant choices, offering a realistic yet controlled setting in which individuals can explore the complexities of leadership, group dynamics, and strategic decision-making. Debriefing and feedback sessions follow the simulation, where participants have the opportunity to reflect on their experiences, gain a deeper understanding of multiple perspectives, and refine their approach to leadership and collaboration. Through this process, they acquire invaluable insights that can be directly applied to their daily roles within the organisation. These simulations provide a powerful way to develop practical skills in negotiation, conflict resolution, and teamwork, all while deepening self-awareness and enhancing group cohesion. |
Coaching: Guiding Transformation through Depth and Insight As an Executive Coach, I work with individuals and teams to foster sustainable growth by addressing both the conscious and unconscious dynamics that shape behaviour. With experience in leadership development, change management, intercultural communication, and conflict resolution, I offer coaching in Swedish, German, and English, tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each client. My coaching method draws on systems psychodynamics and Jungian principles to uncover hidden psychological patterns that influence decision-making and relationships within organisations. By exploring these deeper layers, my clients gain a clearer understanding of their motivations, leadership styles, and interpersonal dynamics, enabling more effective personal and professional growth. Through a combination of one-on-one sessions and tailored group work, I help leaders and teams navigate complex challenges, enhance emotional intelligence, and improve overall performance. My coaching process empowers individuals to break through personal barriers, embrace transformative change, and cultivate resilience, all while aligning their actions with their core values and long-term goals. |
